SCi Sales Group Ltd - UK Energy Brokerage - 2nd Term of Service

 

What was the position of the Company when approaching SCi

This client has a proven track record in reducing the enterprise cost of buying and managing energy.

 

Strategic Requirements - Market Development

The company was looking to accelerate its brand and sales growth in the UK with the strategic objective to ensure that the company was aligned with all the business or government consumers of energy where the corporate spend is in excess of £1million pa.

Scope of the project

Initially a 3 month sales and marketing campaign requiring 1 to 2 outsource sales professionals on a fulltime basis. This agreement is in its second year of service agreement.

 

The selected agency was required to:

 
  • Provide quick and cost effective accelerated sales growth.
  • Develop a pointed and qualified sales and marketing strategy.
  • Deliver and report on an active database of specifically targeted prospects within a managed CRM platform.
  • Deliver and service sales leads evolving a sales pipeline and revenue opportunities.
  • Provide both pre sales and direct sales support.
  Special Requirements / Considerations:
 
  • To work alongside an initial sales team and infrastructure.
  • To acquire knowledge of energy broking market.
  • To create a tangible pre-sales infrastructure.
  • To work within a collaborative team environment.
 

The results:

  • As their UK pre-sales team, SCI have enabled the client to engage directly with targeted qualified prospects to present the benefits of the proposition.
  • They have been able to participate on a larger number of RFPs and RFIs.SCI closed over six figures of revenue business in year 1.
  • Presently the sales pipeline comprises £1.5 million within the FTSE 500 companies and all of the major consumers of energy in the UK.
The client is currently in their second contract extension with SCi.
